The Challenge - Girls ages 7–9 were quickly aging out of traditional doll play. The challenge was to make Barbie feel relevant to this transitional audience by expanding the brand beyond the doll and into lifestyle.

The Approach - I developed a bold, contemporary branding and packaging system that blurred the lines between doll play and lifestyle. We combined toy and product photography with authentic images of real girls wearing Barbie apparel and interacting with licensed lifestyle products. Modernized Barbie pink and filmstrip-inspired framing created a cohesive visual language across packaging, advertising, media and print.

The Challenge - The Underground Rainbow aims to elevate untold stories and make them stick. The challenge was to make honest history engaging and accessible for caretakers and educators of young children, while working with a very limited production budget.

The Approach - We brought energy and excitement to the brand through playful, Hello Kitty-inspired illustrations and animation, creating a visual tone that reflected the engaging content inside the product. The result was a 30-second ad designed to make learning history feel fun, memorable and approachable.

The Challenge - This Bar Saves Lives was a startup offering organic, better-for-you snack bars with a one-for-one giving model: for every bar purchased, a packet of life-saving food was donated to a person in need. At launch, the challenge was to create packaging that communicated the mission immediately while still feeling modern and approachable.

The Approach - We developed a simple, bold identity with an intentionally straightforward logo on a solid-color background, making the brand’s message impossible to miss. To connect the product to its larger purpose, we incorporated patterns created by artists and communities in the regions receiving aid—using their visual traditions to celebrate and elevate their cultures.

The Challenge - For this concept pop-up shop, the product line centered around Snow White and the Evil Queen. The challenge was to create an experience that brought the two sides of the story to life while giving the collection a distinctive, memorable point of view.

The Approach - We developed the concept “Pick Your Poison,” inspired by the iconic apple and the choice between Snow White and the Evil Queen. The pop-up experience was designed around the two characters, with fragrance as the hero product. The visual identity and experience were built from a brand guide that we also designed and developed.

The Challenge - Create a repeatable visual framework for a Disney Valentine’s Day licensed product collection that could flex across multiple franchises while still feeling cohesive enough to work as one collection. The system also needed to appeal to both youth and adult audiences.

The Approach - We created a fresh, youthful visual language built around a simple heart pattern. Occasionally, the hearts transformed into recognizable franchise silhouettes, creating a subtle connection to each property. The heart pattern was used throughout as a typography fill and tossed repeat, while spray paint, splatter textures and airbrushed character icons added a playful, contemporary feel.

The Challenge - Create a brand identity that felt fresh and modern while remaining familiar and uniquely rooted in the Lamara Heights neighborhood.

The Approach - We built the identity around details that make Lamara Heights recognizable. The distinctive curve of Lamara Drive became the swoosh in the “L,” while an arch motif was carried throughout the system as a nod to the tree-lined canopy streets. Magnolia leaves and a Southern Live Oak became key graphic elements, reflecting the neighborhood’s natural character. The color palette drew directly from the landscape, with Magnolia Leaf, Spanish Moss, Live Oak, Coastal Coral and Haint Blue creating an evergreen yet contemporary identity.
